I appreciated the part of this clip showing Piers giving Susan a hug. When we women feel really down, there is nothing like a simple hug from a friend to help. Obviously, it was not the cure-all, with Susan in the hospital now, recuperating from the enormous physical and emotional strain of the whole process. This clip does reassure me that Piers has been genuine in his defense of Susan and does treasure her friendship.

You know, there are two things I find funny. First, the assertion of cheating. I'm sure there wasn't any. Diversity did a fabulous job. Second... when I watched the show, it seemed to me that Susan was relieved that she hadn't won. After all the horrible attacks on the news/net that week.... She looked exhausted, she sang beautifully, and I am a fan who will buy her music if I ever get the chance.

to lennonist: that's so funny... love your blog! But on a serious note, this is exactly what happened (there have been several posts on this already). Susan's performing power on the Semi-final was diminished because she was so nervous in front of Piers (the audience of millions was a minor issue).

to daisuke, you wouldn't know talent is if it hit you between the eyes. To call Susan an old hag, just shows how immature you are. look in the mirror and you will see an old had.. Susan will make millions, while you make pennies.

Does anyone of any reason truly beleive Susan has a blog and she writes it. Susan Boyle freely admitted she never even heard of Youtube the only tube she knew about was a tube of smarties. She has not got a computer and has not needed one as yet. I wish people like the one below would stop making up lies or believing lies. Susan Boyle would no more say anything to harmful or detrimental about Peirs and his well known relationship with his girlfriend than she would a member of her family.

Susan is a very expressive, extra-ordinairy singer, with an extremely beautiful voice. Wizardlover@ Susan is a beautiful woman outwardly! look to her beautiful eyes and her expression and she IS a sexy woman and only 48 years old!!I hope in the near future that Susan will sing songs made by terrific producers, and rock the audience again like she allways did. Her rendition of her songs in BGT give me a warm special feeling and that's unique!

Britain does love Susan, bad media travels all over the world not just here. I thought that Susan sang very well and it's always hard when you automatically get thrown in the public eye over night. The US is trying to make out that nobody appreciates Susan here, but we do. Susan Boyle came out and totally showed her critics what she can do. I admire her for that and I am sure that she will do something. No doubt Mr. Cowell will take her America, but he he doesn't have too, she can sing here.

To daisuke who are you to call a sweet lady a hag? She is not beautiul outwardly but inwardly where it counts. Can't say that for you. Diversity was awesome but then so was Susan so you get over it She will get the respect she has earned when she comes to America. You go Susan, chin up, love in your heart and that smile when you see We Americans who love you so much. Ellen from Texas .

First thing (americans) This is Britains got Talent not Americas got Talent, so stop moaning about Susan. Britain voted Diversity to win and i think they deserved it. Susan will make it far anyway win or loose. Diversity deserved the victory. So some low-lifes can carry on leaving desprate comments for Susan, frankly no one cares because >>>DIVERSITY WON<<< so get over it!
