Despite not being a huge fan of this kind of act, Simon was simply blown away by Julian's audition a few weeks ago. Tonight Julian has the chance of repeating his overwhelming success by performing with his Soprano Saxophone to All By Myself

@ Mikehugh - yeah, it's a soprano saxophone as it says in the description. You can get Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone saxophones, each have different timbres and tessituras (different sounds and pitche ranges, respectively). Strangely he has his saxophone plugged in (wirelessly) to a Marshall amplifier (or at least he did on the auditions), which is cool.

To mikehugh (and anyone else who is wonder) I believe that is a soprano saxophone. They are much less common, so it's understandable that you aren't familiar with the look of them. For more info, check the wikipedia article here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soprano_saxophone

Are you sure this is a saxaphone that julian is playing, I am used to playing instruments myself and that does not look like a saxaphone to me, that has a curled end and has reeds at the top. I really do no believe that he has played a saxaphone on live tv.

I can't believe the travesty - I agree Hollie should not have been given such an unfair advantage over all the other performers. Equally, the judges should not have been allowed to put her through after such a poor first performance. I too feel so strongly that the competition just became so wrong that I will boycott the show entirely. Judges you let your audience down so badly.

Jowd you mean you preferred Holly's SECOND performance. We've just heard from Greg that his cape wasn't attached and he thought it might pull him off the podium. Does that mean he should have got a second chance to see if he could have done better? What's the point of having rules if you're going to change on a whim?

deadwrite- yeah i agree with what your saying that she was emotional but evryones acting out that they hate her or something all im saying is she is still only a little girl and yeah greg was talented but i still prefered hollie's performance.
