On me head

If the scouts at Arsenal Football Club saw last night’s show, (and let’s not kid ourselves – of course they did!)

Then they will be absolutely kicking themselves for letting soccer superemo, Jeremy Lynch, slip through the net.

Dressed in training ground attire with a ball under his arm, Jeremy looked more Vauxhall Conference than Variety Show, and at the first glance, the Judges didn’t seem too optimistic.

“How do you think you can make this entertainment and not sport?” Amanda quizzed.

Oozing self-confidence, and with a cheeky smile on his face, Jeremy responded: “Just watch me!”

Cue Beyonce blaring from the speakers, the crowd frothing in jubilation, and Jeremy displaying the type of ball skills that would have Cristiano Ronaldo crying his eyes out in a jealous rage!

“You’re very cocky, very arrogant… but you need that.” Proclaimed Simon, who, after all, is an undisputed expert in these fields! “The best act we’ve seen in London, so far.”

Amanda was clearly taken by the 20-year old from Essex: “Even though you’re brilliant with your ball tricks and everything, it’s YOU… there is something about you.”

Three resounding ‘yeses’ were enough to send Jeremy through to the next round, and leave him a step closer to achieving his goal.
