When you think of George Sampson you think of the soundtrack he danced to on the live shows of Britain’s Got Talent.
And now, the remix of Singin’ in the Rain by alternative dance act Mint Royale is having a resurgence in the music charts thanks to our George.
After more than 13 million people watched him dance his way to the top in Saturday’s grand final, his backing track has been storming its way through the charts and outselling pop princess Rihanna by 2 – 1.
“I can’t believe the track is heading to number 1” George said: “I love it and its great everyone else likes it. Hopefully it will help me towards dancing in a music video – that’s one of my biggest dreams!”
Fans of George and the rest of the finalists will be able to see them all over again, on the Britain’s Got Talent Live Tour which begins Friday 6th April at the London Hammersmith Apollo.
