Friday's semi final: Results
Date added: 31/05/2008

After yet another fantastic show, we once again found ourselves up on stage with Ant and Dec, waiting with baited breath for tonight’s results to be read out.

Escala, the four-piece string quartet, lived up to expectations and were the first to sail through to tomorrow’s grand final after their “phenomenal” rendition of the 007 tune, Live and Let Die.

And then there were seven. And out of that seven only two had a chance of progressing through to the final stage. When the names Craig Harper and Nemesis were read out, the audience collectively inhaled. Who could choose between two acts so good, but yet so different?

It was age versus youth, tradition versus the future, and it was a decision not many people would have liked to make. After a yes each from Piers and Amanda, it was down to Simon to cast the deciding vote. “If I was choosing with my heart it would be you Craig” he said: “But I’m going with my head… so I choose Nemesis.”

Well folks that’s your lot as far as the semis are concerned, but tune in tomorrow to find out who will be crowned the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2008!
