Diva Las Vegas opened the second half of the show. And what an entrance they made!

The mixed boy/girl group blasted onto the stage, all smiles and sequins, a vision in red and silver. Piers wasn’t impressed with the girls’ performance though, and claimed the earlier girl act were “better and sexier” than the Diva Las Vegas girls.
Amanda was more complimentary stating their performance was “visually spectacular” although she did admit that she preferred their slightly more “tongue in cheek” audition.

Doin' it for the kids was the youngest act of tonight's show, Nemesis, whose members range in age from sixteen to twenty two. Yes by day they're mild-mannered students and call-centre workers, but by night they're a cracking street dance group. They threw a bit of robotics, some break dancing and even some mime into their act - but the noise the crowd made in response was amazing!
And the noises coming from the judges were just as impressive: “You were sharp, edgy, and had humour, you did a fantastic job tonight!” Amanda remarked.
Simon was drooling over their performance: “You are a glimpse into the future” he said: “the best so far tonight.”

The second from last act of the night were Per Diem, who impressed way back at the Blackpool auditions with their Crowded House covers. Could they do the same and raise their game with the poignant Ewan McColl classic The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face? Unfortunately not, and shortly after they began to sing, the judges’ buzzers began to ring out.
“You were off key tonight” explained Amanda: “and that’s why I buzzed for you.”
Terry and Graeme looked upset but Simon had no words of sympathy for them: “If you drop enough notes you’re gonna get buzzed.” But will the public save these loveable Liverpool lads?

Escala, definitely had what it took to impress the boys in the crowd, as well as the classical music fans. The newly named string quartet, who changed their moniker after they discovered a Belgian band shared their original name, looked every inch a winner as they got into the zone and delivered a perfectly honed version of Live and Let Die.
Piers was astounded by their act: “I think bookmakers all over the country are ripping up their books because you have just became the red-hot favourites!”
Amanda beamed: “If that doesn’t get the royal seal of approval, I don’t know what will.” Which was followed up with Simon’s assessment of their performance as: “simply phenomenal.”

So we’ve seen all eight acts… it’s now down to you to decide who will make it through.
