Susan Boyle

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls - this is what memories are made of. Susan Boyle and dance troupe Diversity have been voted into the Britain's Got Talent live final, 2009.

Susan's tear-jerking performance of Memory from the musical Cats has surely made TV history - again. We wondered if Elaine Paige - as well as the rest of the world - was watching? Or if she enjoyed Susan's exuberant celebrations as much as we did when she won!? The judges then decided that dance troupe Diversity - with their fully loaded and freshly original routine - should snap up the other Final spot, beating little Natalie Okri into third place. Poor little Natalie began to cry. Never mind lovely, you'll always be a Superstar around here!

Of course, the show starred eight acts - and although pipped to the post, the others were still hugely entertaining. Sue Son, both gorgeous and talented, was, said Amanda, "a vixen with a violin". Darth Jackson - well. He and his storm troopers were brilliant - and who knew he'd look like THAT underneath?

Also out for shock value was the ever-so- beastly Nick Hell. Urgh! Nick! The drill! The axe! The chainsaw! But if Nick caught everyone's eye, belly dancer Julia Naidenko mesmerised. Amanda buzzed her - but Piers and Simon gave an - ahem - standing ovation. All very impressive - but what Julia did for the boys, Faces of Disco did for the girls - even the super-cloned Simon Cowell masks couldn't distract Amanda from their fit physiques. All  that a sense of humour too! All round, and for all sorts of reasons, it was a fabulous show...

Britain's Got Talent returns tomorrow night with eight more acts for your delight and delectation. Who, like Susan Boyle and Diversity, will end the evening celebrating a much deserved win?

Susan Boyle on a magic world tour, together with *Diversity* and Shaheen Jafargholi as one of the different quest stars. Backing vocals for Susan, and a fantastic choir. Susan must sing about life and especially beautiful love songs, and songs that songwriters/producers made for her! Between the show other dancers and magic shows. Susan must wear phenomenal dresses. At the end a duet with* Paul Pots.*

Susan was obviously nervous to start off with but got in her stride quickly for an amazing range of tones. She had more to live up to than all the other competitors with the publicity, I'd have been nervous too (if I'd been lucky enough to be in that position). Played the video again today, her singing brings a tear to the eye, it was sad to see wee Natalie crying with disappointment, I didn't think she was as good as her audition, she has time on her side. Good luck to Susan.

Outstanding performance by all. Susan is one of the best discoveries in years. Cannot wait to hear her soon in America. What a story she has and voice that is a miracle for our times. So up lifting she gives all of us hope that anything is possible if we never give up. She brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to her sing. Thank You for making this site available to the world to listen. Linda P. Glendale, Arizona - USA

Diversity were clearly the best act on the night and should have gone through first. I'd have put Faces of Disco through in the second spot. For me Susan didn't live up to her first performance and if you're judging it on the night's performances and not on the auditions as well then she shouldn't have made it. But the kid should never have been in the top 3. She was really poor on the night. And Amanda that was a shocker picking her over Diversity, I'm just glad Simon saw sense.

yes ok shes a good singer, but why doesnt she go on the x-factor if she think she is so good, she aint got talent, if she wins the show i will never watch this show ever again.

Sheis absolutely brilliant!

No way Susan should go through. Are people hearing a different voice to me, cause she cannot sing! It's average at best. Diversity were awesome, but I wish Faces of Disco or the violinist had gone through instead.

THANK THE LORD! Diversity and Susan are both incredible. Poor Nathalie- but the song wasn't really right for her. Faces of Disco were so funny- loved the Obama/Brown bit! Nick Hell and Darth Jackson... (shudders). Darth Jackson is a geek: Nick Hell is a goth. Julia was mesmerizing, but her dance was lacking 'belly'. Sue was great but not as good as the audition.

Very happy to see Diversity make it to the final. They were definitely the best on the night! These dance acts find it hard to compete against the solo singers -- not so easy to build the "TV buddy" factor when you're in a big group. Good luck boys.
