Since graduating from Mountview Theatre School in the summer of 1992, Amanda has been a much-loved face on British television screens. The first part she landed was in Suspicious Circumstances, starring opposite Edward Woodwood, which was soon followed by appearances in Eastenders, It’s Only A Game, and We Know Where You Live.
Her role as Mel in Kiss Me Kate propelled her towards stardom, but it was her part in the popular ITV comedy, The Grimleys, that cemented her reputation as one of the nation’s favourite actresses. As well as filming series 2 of Britain’s Got Talent as a judge, Amanda has just got back from Africa where she has been shooting the 3rd series of the hugely successful Wild At Heart.
