Form an orderly queue, ladies. We can exclusively reveal that our Irish crooner Ryan is still SINGLE.
Having wowed the judges on the show with his self-penned romantic ballad ‘No Name’, we caught up with the cheeky chap to talk about his love life, new album and his sweet tooth.
Sooo, how are you?
I am grand, thank you. I am currently in London. I have lots of meetings to attend regarding my single and album - it's all mega exciting! My music video is online already and the reaction to it has been great. I can’t believe my single gets released on July 29th.
How has life changed since appearing on the show?
It has certainly got a lot busier. The weeks have flown by. Everyday I am doing something different; in the studio recording one day, doing a photo-shoot the next and then gigging the day after that. It’s all so much fun.
Cool! Are you seeing anybody at the moment?
Ha ha... definitely not. I haven’t had time to even date, so I've no news to report with regards to the ladies. Not just yet anyway, I'll keep you posted if I do meet somebody!
What is the strangest gift a fan has given you?
It was at a gig in Ireland; this girl gave me a big packet of Haribo and lots of chocolates. How cool is that?
Would you say you have the luck of the Irish?
My friends definitely think I do! I am actually one of the luckiest people ever as everything I do works out all the time. I auditioned for a TV job when I was younger and I shouldn’t have got the part, but I did. Luck certainly is on my side. I’m not complaining.
What has been your fave gig so far?
I did a really small and intimate gig in Drogheda, Ireland, which was amazing. The soundman was brilliant and I got a really good vibe from the crowd.
What would be your perfect dinner?
That’s easy! It would definitely be enchiladas with lots of chicken and cheese. Yum, you are making me really hungry now. Let's move on from food...
Ok! So what would be your ideal date?
As long as the date wasn’t awkward and lots of fun, then I’d definitely be happy.
And finally, do you have any strange habits?
Well, I am always, always chewing gum – is that weird? Maybe slightly, I never leave the house without at least one packet of chewing gum.
