Paw blimey! Did you see Ashleigh and Pudsey’s winning performance? If you didn’t, you must be barking! We hear that viewing figures went through the woof.
We caught up with the dancing duo to talk about how they’ll be spending that £500,000 prize money and their plans to conquer Hollywoof, (oops, we mean Hollywood).
How did you celebrate your epic win?
I celebrated with all the other contestants in the studio afterwards. Production hired a DJ and we all had a good boogie. Pudsey had a little dance too.
What a party animal! Is he feeling ruff today?
No, he’s fine. His ears pricked up when he heard about the prize money. He’s on a high too!
Awww, how will you spend the prize money?
I will be using the prize money to buy Pudsey a new diamante encrusted collar. He loves his bling. I’ll also be treating him to lots of expensive steak!
What have been your highlights?
It has been the most amazing experience of my life so it’s tough to choose. I’ve made so many new friends. I’m close to all the contestants – I love Jonathan and Charlotte and Sam Kelly. We were all rooting for one another.
We hear that Simon wants to dog-nap Pudsey…
Ha! Simon sooo wants to steal Pudsey off me. Simon, if you’re reading this – Pudsey is mine! If Simon wants to dance with Pudsey, he’ll need to put the hours in. I’d be happy to teach him.
Pudsey has been papped lots, hasn’t he?
The photo of Pudsey taking a leak outside the studios was hilarious. Pudsey wasn’t too happy about it – he’s a bit of a diva. I don’t think he wanted his fans seeing him like that – he has a glamorous image to protect!
Is he turning into a bit of a mini-diva?
Ha! Possibly – he loves being papped and is best buds with the one and only Simon. I’ll have to keep him grounded and reign him in if he gets too showbizzy.
Does Pudsey have a favourite Judge?
He loves all the Judges but he has a soft spot for Simon. We were both on cloud nine when Simon chatted to us backstage. Pudsey hasn’t stopped barking about it!
