Awww, hands up if you thought Ashleigh and Pudsey’s audition was the cutest thing EVER.
This afternoon, we caught up with the talented twosome to talk (and bark) about last night’s telly-tastic episode.
Here, they discuss their plans to dance with Simon and why Pudsey has his eye on an Oscar…
Sooo, what did you think of last night’s episode?
I was so emotional, I cried throughout our audition when it came on TV. It was the clip they showed of me unwrapping Pudsey when he was a baby on my eleventh birthday that started off the waterworks. The support from the public since last night has meant so much, we’re truly honoured. I'm glad everyone loves Pudsey as much as I do.
Moreover, did PUDSEY enjoy the show?
Awww, he did! He barked throughout last night’s episode and kept pawing the telly. I hugged Pudsey all night. I love him so much. I’m so proud of him, he’s a little star. If we get through to the Live Shows, I’ll be treating him to steak every night and a new collar.
Did you like any of the other acts?
I love The Zimmers and Mr Zip. I’ve been singing ‘Where’s me keys, where’s me phone’ all day.
Do you have a favourite Judge?
My favourite Judge is Simon. I was so happy when he told me that Pudsey was one of the best dancing dogs he’d ever seen. He’s since said that he’ll dance on stage if a dog wins this year’s BGT - if that’s the case, then he should pop over and I’ll teach him some basics so he and Pudsey can dance together. If he wants to dance with Pudsey, he has to put in the hours.
Tell us more about Pudsey...
Pudsey loves watching The Flintstones and Simon Cowell on TV and he's so excited about BGT.
What would be your dream for Pudsey?
I hope fame doesn’t go to his head as he can be a bit of a diva - what Pudsey wants, Pudsey gets! I could totally see him in films, he really knows how to pose for the camera and I reckon he’d make a better actor than Lassie.
