Tonight’s show exploded into life as the Circus of Horrors demonstrated how many dangerous things can be done on one stage at one time!

It was a hot performance but the judges’ comments were lukewarm until Simon declared he “loved it!” and he was sure the Royal Family would too!

Jay showed-off his Welsh credentials by belting out an original take on the Kings of Leon smash, Use Somebody.

Michael enjoyed it and Simon complimented Jay on his swagger.

“You absolutely stepped it up!” proclaimed The Hoff.

Up next were Angela and her dancing dog, Teddy, who at times looked as if he’d rather be in bed than dancing around a basket on national television.

Teddy had seen better days according to the judges.

“It was like Lassie in slow-motion!” Simon said.

After failing to impress Amanda at their audition, Abyss had a point to prove tonight.

Their dancing and neon outfits did the trick for Simon who praised the Londoners for their “creative” routine.

Amanda thought there were “flashes of brilliance” and resident street-dance guru Michael McIntyre “loved it!”

Poor Watchirapon! With the meaning of her act perhaps getting lost in translation, she felt the need to apologise to the judges after they gave her a string of negative comments.

Amanda said she didn’t think entertainment was Watchiraporn’s “forte”, whilst Michael felt as if he were on a stag do!

We then entered the hilarious world of Les Gibson and his many voices.

Both the crowd and the judges were in stitches over Les’s Alan Sugar, Gordon Ramsey, and Ross Kemp impressions, but the pièce de résistance was his brilliantly camp Dec impersonation!

Everybody loved the routine... except Dec!

James Hobley then conducted a masterclass in graceful dancing as he leapt about to the Leona Lewis hit, Happy.

And happy is exactly what the judges were by the time he’d finished.

Amanda was “really moved” and The Hoff hailed the youngster “an inspiration!”

The evening’s proceedings were brought to an end by the bell ringing skills of Gay and Alan.

But less than a minute into their rendition of Phantom of the Opera, Simon buzzed.

“There were too many bells!” he explained, but The Hoff loved it: “You rang my bell!” he declared.

She's sold a lot of records and she's still got a lot of teenage angst... but boy does she know how to rock it!

Les Gibson was crowned the outright winner of tonight's show - hopefully he'll be back with more Dec in the final!

James Hobley became the sixth act to join Saturday's Grand Final at the expense of Gay and Alan.
