The fifth and final Britain’s Got Talent semi-final opened in swinging style thanks to the swivelling hips of Marawa and her many hoops!

The routine had Michael in a swirl, and Amanda likening Marawa to “Betty Boop with hula hoops!”

Move over Sarah Brightman and Andrea Bocelli, there’s a new classical duo in town!

Pip and her pet pooch Buddy had the audience howling for more at the end of their ear-piercing performance.

Simon loved it too and hailed the pair as “the most talented double act in the world.”

Like Riverdance did all those years ago, The Celtic Coleens have found a way of making Irish dancing look really cool.

In a routine bursting with energy and originality, the light-footed youngsters wowed the judges, with Michael hailing their performance “sensational!”

They sang about a Teenage Dream but their Britain’s Got Talent dream looked to be in tatters after Simon buzzed them halfway through their song.

Simon thought it was “cabaret” and “old fashioned”, but The Hoff championed the married couple: “I don’t think you let yourselves down” he soothed.

Follow The Right Path decided to sing the same tribute song they sang at their audition and after a glowing report from Simon Cowell, the teenage rappers could follow their dreams to future chart success.

Simon finished proceedings by telling the teary-eyed duo he thought the performance was “absolutely brilliant!”

Antonio Popeye then did what Antonio Popeye does best... he popped his eyes out!

But this time it wasn’t up to the judges’ eye-popping standards and they promptly buzzed him off.

“Your eyes didn’t bulge enough!” Simon said.

French wildcard Michael Moral was up next, bringing us his Parisian brand of jelly-legged dancing.

The performance belied his lack of rehearsal... even if the ending was très bizarre!

The Hoff thought he did a “great job” and Simon was glad he had the opportunity to perform.

“When you’ve got it, you’ve got it!” stated Simon after a spine-tingling rendition of Paul Weller’s Hanging On The Wire.

The other judges loved the simplicity of Michael’s performance, with Amanda hailing him “The Voice!” 

We’d already seen a Frenchman’s fancy footsteps, it was time to see a Romanian do the robot.

The Matrix-style routine just pipped it, according to the panel, with Simon preferring Razy’s performance to Michael’s.

“My favourite performance of the night!” Amanda beamed.

The world of BGT then fused with planet X Factor for three glorious minutes, as Diversity performed a heart-racing routine alongside serial chart-botherers JLS!

Liquid-limbed Razy was the surprise winner of tonight's public vote, leaving the judges to choose between Michael Collings and Pip and Puppy.

Although Simon was initially torn, it was a clean sweep for new dad Michael, as the panel of power voted him into tomorrow's Grand Final!
