The Enchantment of Got Talent Added 19 May

Some Britain’s Got Talent acts can be shown in a flash whilst others need more screen-time to pad-out their premise.

By this reckoning it seems strange that an act as bizarre and eclectic as Enchantment should only grace our TVs for a matter of seconds.

Surely that’s not long enough to fathom what the heck was going on?

Well no, because their 30 seconds of screen-time told you all you need to know about Enchantment.

They are an act that refuse to be neatly pigeon-holed, nicely labelled, or put in any kind of box... unless it's part of the contortionist's routine.

“We are a cirque performance who want to create something that’s never been seen before,” explained team choreographer Nikki Bond.

“As a group of multi-skilled performers we’re made up of gymnasts, dancers, aerialists and more. We’ve got so many different skills between us from opera singing to extreme skating, that it’s hard to sum us up easily... we just want to bring awareness to the UK circus scene.”

So if watching their act was like rubbing your eyes after waking up from a brilliant dream... that was the idea!

If they do make it through to the live finals, will the Tie-dye inspired all-in-one outfits make another appearance?

“We thought Michael would absolutely rip into us for what we were wearing!” smiled one imp-like performer.

“Considering he is a comedian he was pretty nice to us. We can’t promise the outfits won’t be back, but I think if we make the live shows we’ll jazz-up our outfits even more!”
