How are you finding the Britain’s Got Talent auditions?
It’s interesting, people assume that Brits are very reserved and shy but I’ve been really surprised so far. We’ve had some real extroverts and characters show up to perform but at this stage my lips are sealed!

Has the big boss given you any tips?
Ha... Simon has taken on the role of BGT stylist. He’s always on at me to tie my hair back as he says it flatters my face more. Leave my hair alone, Simon!

Where would you take Simon on a night out?
I would take him to a Jamaican restaurant followed by a night getting down at a reggae club – put some soul into him.

Have you argued with him yet?
Yes! Last night, I shouted at him and David during auditions in Cardiff. I told them to ‘Shut up!’ They wouldn’t let me get a word in edgeways. 

Have you spoken to Amanda since she gave birth?
I’ve sent her a message of support and I wish her a speedy recovery. I love Amanda to bits – I’m missing my partner in crime and can’t wait for her to come back. I need her to help me stand up to the boys!

Are you a bargainista fashionista or a designer diva?
Both! I love designer stuff for red carpet events but I like a good bargain too; there’s some great stuff on the high street right now.

Biggest ever fashion faux-pas?
Anything I wore in Mis-teeq was a disaster. My mantra now is ‘less is more’ but back then it was all about piling on the slap and bling. Cringe!

Do you prefer to showcase your legs or boobs?
Ha, boobs! Nah, it depends on my mood. I’m a sucker for a mini-dress; it's fun to get your legs out sometimes. Although, I do love to wear floor-sweeping gowns for special occasions; they're so elegant and timeless.

What’s been your best ever date?
Food is the way to my heart and I love a fella who can cook up a storm in the kitchen. Romantic surprises are always nice too!

And the worst?
This guy once took me to a takeaway for a kebab – AT THE START OF THE DATE! It’s hardly romantic but by all means buy me one after a few drinks at the end of the night…
