Ant ‘n’ Dec scoop 11th award in a row! Added 26 Jan

Time to clear out some space in that trophy cabinet, boys! Last night at The National Television Awards, Geordie duo Ant and Dec won yet ANOTHER award to add to their burgeoning silverware collection.

Our cheeky chappies also dusted off their singing skills to open the two-and-a-half-hour telly extravaganza with TV legend Sir Bruce Forsyth. The showbiz trio treated a delighted audience to an all singing, all dancing rendition of Let There Be Love. Let’s get ready to rhumba, eh boys? Sorry, we couldn’t resist it.

In case you were wondering, this will be the ELEVENTH gong the lads have picked up in the history of the show. Blimey, at this rate, it’ll only be a matter of time before the awards ceremony is renamed The Ant and Dec Awards!

The pair collected the Best Entertainer Award from cameo-host Kermit the Frog (also known as Ker-mot O’Leary) to rapturous applause and told the crowd: "We've been lucky enough to win a couple of these but every time it feels like the first time. We are just so honoured and humbled."

The star-studded event also saw funnyman and BGT Judge extraordinaire David Walliams scoop a Landmark Award for his charitable swimming efforts, (water star!). So, without further ado, we’d like to offer our congratulations to Ant and Dec. Bravo!
