With thousands watching from the auditorium, and millions more watching at home, Paul Burling’s Britain’s Got Talent audition was a far cry from performing in empty social clubs.

The veteran impressionist who admitted he was “paid off stage” during his worst ever gig, enjoyed one of the best performances of his career as his Harry Hill impersonation and cartoon character medley went down a storm with the Cardiff crowd.

But for those of you who feared the Dad of two had peaked too soon, and showed us his full repertoire first time out, worry not – Paul has a few trump cards up his sleeve and has promised us , the best is yet to come.

Paul, who counts Robbie Williams as a fan, having worked with his father at a holiday camp in the ‘80s, is saving some of his favourite impersonations for the live shows... should he make the semi-finals.

All we do know is he does a brilliant Del Boy... so if he plays his cards right, ‘this time next year he’ll be a millionaire!’

Which of Paul’s impressions was your favourite? Leave a comment below...

I find the camera work very frustrating. I want to watch the acts, if the whole act is shown then the cameras pan around to the audience, judges or Ant&Dec. Ant & Dec are ok as they make witty comments.
Whole chunks of the performances are missed because of the cutting to other areas or panning right out so it is like sitting in the "Gods". If the act is a dance act then it is hard to make a judgment on snatched pieces.
