Simon says 'yes' to Demi Moore...26 May 09

Amanda Holden

Amanda Holden has just burst into the Britain's Got Talent production office to continue her twittering conversation with Demi Moore!

Using a production computer, Amanda sat in her rollers to update her Twitter status with a new offer for Demi - thanks to Simon Cowell.

Demi and husband Ashton Kutcher are big fans of Scottish songstress Susan Boyle, with Demi famously admitting the Britain's Got Talent finalist made her blub when she saw her before!

And having previously invited Demi over to see the live Grand Final flying on Simon's private jet, she can now - ahem - put Simon's money where her mouth is.

Her Twitter note said:

"Message for Demi!! Please someone get this to her as I am still rubbish at twittering Simon says Yes!! But to first class tickets!!! Xxxxx"

So Demi is very welcome - even if the private jet in indisposed.

Once that was done, and just an hour before start time, she ran off to finish getting ready for the big live show!

So, Demi, if you're reading the Britain's Got Talent website, get back to Amanda. That sounds like an offer that's hard to refuse!

I think it's great that Hollywood stars want to see Susan Boyle, but I don't think rewarding them with free tickets to the show along with paid for travel/hotel packages sends the right message. After watching Hollywood turn out for American Idol, I wonder - did they all get in free? If they love Susan Boyle so much, they should pay to see her - put their money where their mouths are. I'm in awe of Susan Boyle's talent, but I don't expect to get to see her for free as a reward for saying so..

I would love to see Demi Moore on BGT, what a wonderful idea. I think there is too much of "them and us" when it comes to money. I think its brilliant that somebody from Hollywood wants to come all this way to see some of our British talent with ordinary people and in all honesty why not?? Well done to Susan and please dont worry about what the press thinks. You can spend a whole lifetime worrying about that. Dont!! xxxx

This is just wrong. WRONG! This will put even more pressure on Susan. This is the worst idea. I agree with the others, fly her family in for Saturday night. She needs support from them not from Hollywood actors that well are doing it for the brownie points.

Have to agree. Demi Moore can easily afford airfares and accom. Simon, why not invite some of Susan's family and friends to the show. After all, this is Britian's got Talent, not Let's show American stars. I am sure Demi Moore would gladly pay her own way.

Why do multi-millionaires like Demi Moore et al, get everything for free? Surely she could afford her own flight? Us 'normal' people pay for tickets to shows we want to see and pay for flights when we want to go somewhere. Yet, in a sick way, the richer you are, the more freebies you get AND, it seems, EXPECT!!! It's disgusting. Why doesn't Simon Cowell fly someone poor out to the show and put them up in the Dorchester like he's doing for Demi???!!!

How obvious it is that every last act in the semi finals will be in the finals. The production should at least give the appearance that any act could win......

No to Demi Moore. I don't like Hollywood people. This are for the common folks, this show is for amateurs, why do Hollywood have to be in it. They faces are all over the places, so we don't need to look at them again. Let's see someone who can't afford to pay to come and see the show live. No and No to Hollywood, but then those judges are all pro Hollywood.
